PrintShrimp API Terms of Use

These Terms (the "API Terms") govern your access to and use of the PrintShrimp API, including integrations with e‑commerce platforms such as Etsy (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these API Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Definitions

• API: Application programming interface provided by PrintShrimp.
• Customer (you): Individual or entity granted access to PrintShrimp's API.
• End Customer: Individual placing orders through your application.
• Order: Request from you or End Customers for printing and delivery of products via the PrintShrimp API.
• Products: Items fulfilled by PrintShrimp, including but not limited to posters and prints.

2. License and Access

Subject to compliance with these API Terms, PrintShrimp grants you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to access and use the API solely to integrate your application with PrintShrimp for order fulfillment.

3. Customer Account

You must provide accurate and current information when creating your API access account and promptly update any changes. We may suspend or terminate your account if your information is incomplete or inaccurate.

4. Use and Restrictions

You must:

• Comply with these API Terms, applicable laws, and PrintShrimp policies.
• Only store or cache data obtained through the API for a maximum of 6 hours for listings and 24 hours for other content.
• Not replicate, scrape, modify, or disrupt the functionality or security of the API or related services.
• Not resell, lease, or transfer API access or obtained data to third parties.
• Not send spam or unsolicited marketing via the API.

5. User Privacy and Data Protection

You are an independent data controller for user information and must comply with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR. Your application must display a clear privacy policy compatible with our Privacy Policy. You must implement appropriate security measures, including two‑factor authentication (2FA), where applicable, and notify us immediately of any security breach.

6. Intellectual Property

• PrintShrimp retains all intellectual property rights in the API. You agree not to reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works from the API.
• You grant PrintShrimp a non‑exclusive license to use information provided via the API to support and enhance the Services.

7. Fees and Payments

You agree to pay fees for API access or transactions as communicated to you or set out in a separate agreement. Late payments may incur interest and could result in suspension or termination of your API access.

8. Shipping and Delivery

PrintShrimp will fulfill and ship orders received through the API based on the provided shipping details. We will use reasonable efforts to meet estimated delivery times but are not liable for delays beyond our control.

9. Support

PrintShrimp provides technical support related to the API. End Customers must direct support inquiries to you, not to PrintShrimp.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify PrintShrimp against any claims arising from your use of the API, including infringement of third‑party rights or violations of applicable law.

11. Limitation of Liability

PrintShrimp’s liability under these Terms is limited to direct damages capped at the fees paid by you in the preceding twelve months. We are not liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate API access at any time with written notice. PrintShrimp may immediately suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Dubai, UAE. Disputes will be resolved by arbitration in Dubai under Dubai International Arbitration Centre rules.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these API Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated to you, and continued use of the API indicates acceptance.
